WAYS TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM DISEASES TRANSMITTED BY WATER AND FOOD

Tap water in cities does not have any drawbacks in terms of body cleaning. During the day, hands, faces can be washed and bathed. However, drinking these waters is very inconvenient and can cause unwanted diseases. If it is to be used for cooking, tea, coffee, it should be boiled well.

When the mains water in the cities is consumed as drinking water, intestinal diseases will turn a person’s life into a nightmare. Intestinal diseases such as dysentery, cholera, typhoid, intestinal parasites, brucella are transmitted to humans through polluted water.

It is very difficult to reach clean water in African countries, so African countries are the countries where the most intestinal diseases are seen in the world. Recently, with the contributions of our country, water wells have been opened in Africa and intestinal diseases are gradually decreasing.

POOR WASHING OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES LEADS TO BAD CONSEQUENCES

There are many harmful bacteria and microbes on fruits and vegetables that are not visible to the eye. In other words, when you look at it, an apple that looks immaculate and shines brightly is actually not so innocent.

Your eyes should not deceive you, fruits and vegetables should be washed with plenty of water. Many fruits have a peel by nature, which protects the fruit from bacteria and germs. After washing and peeling, you can consume it with peace of mind.

However, some fruits are delicious with the peel and have quite useful vitamins in the peel. You can consume such fruits with peels after washing them well with plenty of water. Some vegetables are peeled, just like fruits, and can be consumed with or without peeling after thorough washing.

There is no peel that protects vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, arugula, cabbage, parsley from microbes. These vegetables contain much greater amounts of microbes and bacteria. In particular, the cleanliness of vegetables consumed without cooking should be taken care of.

BABIES SHOULD BE FED WITH BREAST MILK

The immune systems of adult humans are quite strong. However, babies’ immune systems are not strong enough and therefore their bodies are vulnerable to microbes. Breast milk is one of the foods with the least microbes.

Therefore, babies should be fed primarily with breast milk. No matter how much you wash the ingredients you use in a food you prepare with fruits and vegetables, they will contain a small amount of microbes and bacteria.

Although small amounts of bacteria and germs do not affect adults, they are inconvenient for babies. Therefore, babies should be fed with breast milk until they reach a certain development.
