ANOREXIA NERVOSA

Anorexia nervosa, popularly known as mannequin disease, is a disease that should be taken seriously. Anorexia nervosa, which is a disease that we can also describe as a person's obsession with weakness, is not taken seriously at first, but over time it can result in death due to excess weight loss.

Although people around him constantly warn someone with anorexia that he has a skin, eat some food, because it is an obsessive disease, the person does not listen to anyone and no matter how much he weakens, he continues to weaken constantly because he is not satisfied with his condition.

Anorexia nervosa is a psychological disorder that wears a person down and causes excessive weight loss. The individual suffering from this disease may not be aware that there is a problem with him. Therefore, he must be convinced that he should receive psychological support from his relatives.

IT IS ALSO FREQUENTLY SEEN IN PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS IN THEIR DAILY LIVES

In those who are physically or psychologically abused by their parents, in children who are bullied by their peers at school, in individuals who are exposed to pressure in business life, there is a decrease in the desire to eat, ie lack of appetite, due to an extremely unhappy and hopeless mood.

Individuals who cannot eat enough due to lack of appetite, or even skip some meals, are getting weaker and weaker and their stomachs are shrinking due to this situation.

Individuals with shrinking stomachs do not feel the need to eat naturally. Even if they do, they can consume very small amounts of food.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF ANOREXIA?

  • Anorexia nervosa can be diagnosed with some symptoms. Although the person is very fit, if they constantly react as if I am too fat, my legs are too thick, my arms are too thick, this person may be approached with suspicion of anorexia nervosa.
  • Although the weather is such that it does not require wearing very thick clothes, individuals suffering from this disease wear much thicker clothes than other people.
  • They exhibit an attitude away from the opposite sex because their sexual impulse decreases. Because of this situation, they adopt an asocial and introverted lifestyle. They prefer to be alone, away not only from the opposite sex but also from their fellow man.
  • When faced with the slightest problem, they react much more than a normal person would, and adopt an angry and aggressive attitude.
  • Anorexia nervosa symptoms are also observed in people who constantly look in the mirror and sigh that I am very fat and need to lose weight.
  • Even if their parents insist that they should eat, they get away with eating by telling lies like I'm out so I'm not hungry. Because eating is a negative situation for them.
